With the AT&T Next℠ plan, a subscriber can purchase a new smartphone economically by spreading the cost of the device over a set number of months, with a low installment payment due monthly. The current charges for the billing account associated with the wireless number automatically includes the monthly installment payment along with the service charge and any past due balance. Premier eBill administrators can pay this total invoice amount using the One Time Payment page.
The wireless number's installment plan specifies details such as the cost of the device, the amount being financed, the amount of each monthly payment, the number of payments until the device is paid in full, and the number of payments that must be paid before the device is eligible for an upgrade (that is, 12 or 18 months).
If the plan is eligible, administrators can pay off the balance and own the device now, or they can pay to upgrade the device now by paying the number of installments required. A Pay Off payment or a Pay To Upgrade payment can be included with the total invoice amount when making a payment using the One Time Payment page. This enables Premier eBill administrators to pay everything online with a single transaction.
To view the active installment plan for this wireless number, go to the Subscriber Summary page, and under Usage and Plan Information, click Installment Payment Schedule.
The Additional Installment Plan Payments page appears similar to the one shown here. The top of the page shows summary information about the plan. The center of the page shows the amount required to pay off the device, and the amount required to upgrade the device now. If eligible, administrators see options for paying either amount. The page also lists a schedule of the plan's installment payments, along with status.
